Ubuntu and Craft projects
I just finished up a blanket for some friends in the Ubuntu Community who are expecting a baby soon. I used Brown fleece and white thread. (adopting the new color theme). I crocheted the edging all the way around. (It’s one and a half yards long). I was trying for the “kids drawing/crayon” effect with the logo and lettering. I don’t think it’s too bad for my 1st attempt.

Woo, I like it a lot! I have been meaning to do something similar as I have a Husqvarna Viking Designer sewing machine that does custom embroidery as well. Only problem is, I haven't figured out how to use the damn thing. Had for the better part of 3 years, took some classes, and still can't figure the darn thing out.
nixternal, I want one that does embroidery. I do all of my stuff by hand… 🙂 Where would you find the time.. You are like crazy busy. I hope you find time, I'd love to see what you come up with.. 😀
